The single seat from Touratech is really great, at the beginning it takes a lot of getting used to, but now I can ride for hours without it getting uncomfortable like with the original !

A sheepskin from Alaska now decorates my Touratech seat.

We have here in my town a excellent Turkish tailor which sewed me a tension net on my fur, now I can take it off in seconds. So it sits much better on long rides !

There are only some little things missing for touring, like additional LED spotlights, LED fog lights, Stahflex brake lines and so on.

The cockpit panel is now made of carbon, so it doesn't glare as much in the sun as the aluminum before !

I like optically also much better ...

I removed the original Tripmaster and replaced it with the Garmin Zumo GPS.

The Africa Twin has few weak points, but these should be switched off.

This includes monitoring the charge controller !

That's why I bought a voltmeter/charging voltage monitor !

This LED display is a simple, easy to install and robust way to monitor the function of the charge controller.

In case of undervoltage (= battery is no longer charged) the red LED lights up,

in case of overvoltage (= controller failure)

the yellow one.

Normally the display is simply dark.

It was a little tight for me, but it still seems to fit.

I have disconnected the switched 12V voltage at the water temperature display. At the tachometer it does not work with the RD07a !

The other weakness is the original fuel pump.

I mounted the much better MIKUNI vacuum fuel pump.

The GPS antenna for the Garmin 276c is now on the rear !

Small LED turn signals are now installed .

New tankbag from SW Motech.

A great part in optimal size, it doesn't disturb at all while driving!

Behind the Touratech single rider seat is a Touratech rear bag, a really great part !

The higher and wider MRA screen is now mounted, with the Touratech Windshield it's really great, even in rain I don't have to close the helmet visor anymore. The wind pressure is away from the upper body and especially from the helmet, it was really worth it!

I removed the Givi carrier and the crash bars, because they are no good !

I exchanged the original engine guard for a rally guard with 3 built water tanks ...

Now I have mounted the Touratech luggage carrier.

For me it is the best on the market for the Africa Twin !

The new Touratech crash bar unfortunately doesn't fit with my rally engine guard despite the extra width...

It has wormed me so much that I have bent everything in laborious work to the right until it finally fit, what an act...

A lot of space between tank and crash bar for accessories ...

I have also mounted specially made and more robust protective grilles on the two water coolers and on the oil cooler. Now they are better protected against flying rocks.

The brake cylinder on the right and the fuel switch on the left are now protected by specially made metal sheets.

In front at the motorcycle frame in the middle comes also another sheet metal, but I must still adapt that by hand....

Now there is also a high mudguard on the Twin, I like it much better. But it was a real act to add it. The AQ stuff is really the worst. But after exchanging all screws and some small parts it fit, but the rear part I had to saw off so it doesn't get into the crash bar !

Actually I wanted to spray my new one again in olive / black like my old Twin.

But I could not overcome to cover the beautiful TT paint job ...
